Qualifications

Job description

TidalHealth is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to women throughout all stages of life. Our team is growing, and we’re seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife who shares our passion for patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Position Summary

As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you’ll play a vital role in providing comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and routine gynecologic care. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with policy
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other specialists for comprehensive care

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in MD
  • Current DEA and prescriptive authority (or eligibility)
  • BLS and NRP certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
