Job summary

Clinical & Support Options, Inc. in Northampton, MA seeks a Relief Medical Respite Nurse for a 10-bed program. You will support guests with medical needs, document vital signs and assessments in the EHR, and help with care coordination and safety planning.

Ideal candidates have complex medical experience, comfort with emergencies, and a background in medical-surgical or ER settings. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged, and flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed MA Registered Nurse.
• Experience with complex medical needs and emergency situations.
• Experience addressing serious mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Apply harm reduction approaches to meet clients' needs.
• Perform patient-centered assessments and document in CSO's EHR.
• Screen referrals and review discharge paperwork for appropriateness.
• Provide health education and safety planning to guests.
• Act as a resource for the care team and coordinate care.
