Job summary

Palisade Healthcare Center in Garretson, SD is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to oversee nursing care delivery and ensure quality resident outcomes. The Nurse Manager will supervise licensed nurses and CNAs, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Qualified candidates hold an RN or LPN license and have experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN or LPN license in South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination and delivery of resident care.
• Supervise licensed nurses and CNAs to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• update care plans, ADL documentation, and CNA flow sheets as resident conditions change.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for person-centered care.
