Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Lacey, WA, seeks a Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) for our Lacey Medical Clinic, with potential duties at the Thurston County Walk In Clinic. The role collaborates with the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director to oversee nursing staff and ensure Sea Mar’s standards and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is empathetic, calm, and motivated to improve health outcomes, with knowledge of Social Determinants of Health and community health care

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
• LPNs will be considered if they have equivalent experience.
• Must complete state HIV education.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain it.
• Excellent communication, listening, and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA), including MA supervisors.
• Implement nursing policies and procedures to meet standards and regulations.
• Perform monthly audits and demonstrate knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Focus on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
• Lead hiring efforts for MAs and other support staff.
• Oversee a patient care system of nurse-only visits.
