Job summary

Manatee Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager for the Intensive Care Unit in Bradenton, Florida. The ideal candidate will direct and supervise nursing staff, manage budgets, and ensure quality care.

The Nurse Manager assumes 24‑hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of the unit. The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager integrates evidence‑based practice utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Qualifications
