Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking an RN Nurse Manager for the Rehabilitation unit in New Jersey. The role focuses on directing patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to clinical policies while collaborating with physicians and the Program Director.

The position emphasizes staffing adequacy, patient care quality, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• Graduate of a professional nursing program (AND, BSN or Diploma).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
• Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
• Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
