Job summary

Avantara North is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our friendly, caring team. You will help oversee the Clinical Department, maintain high standards of resident care, and support a positive and inclusive facility culture.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active South Dakota RN license, CPR certification, and at least two years of RN experience (five years preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Unencumbered South Dakota RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Two years of RN experience required; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Nursing Department to ensure high standards of care.
• Help set and attain Nursing Department goals and maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive facility culture and support staff development.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure residents receive exceptional care.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification and two (2) years of R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department and five (5) years of R.N. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
