Job summary
Corewell Health Wayne Hospital in Wayne, MI, seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the Progressive Care Unit. You will supervise staff, ensure safe patient care, and drive clinical and business outcomes in a center of excellence.
Required Bachelor's in Nursing, MI RN license, 3+ years nursing experience with leadership; Master's preferred. Day shift, full-time, 36 hours weekly. Collaborate with physicians and departments to promote staff development and high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- External applicants: 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience required.
- Internal applicants: 2 years informal leadership experience required.
- MI RN license required upon hire.
- CRT-Specialty Certification: 2 years required.
Responsibilities
- Lead designated patient care unit to promote quality nursing care and staff development.
- Ensure safe, effective delivery of patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Foster communication and collaboration with physicians, staff, patients and other departments.
- Drive staff recruitment, retention and cost-efficient resource use.
