The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing practice and operations on a designated unit or service line in New York. You will direct clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, and performance evaluation, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required).
• Registered nurse license in New York State (required).
• Master's degree in nursing or health-related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of nursing clinical care with charge nurse/supervisory experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Lead nursing practice and promote patient experience using the Professional Practice Model and care delivery framework.
• Oversee Hourly Care Checks and ensure staff performance and rounding.
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams for safe, timely discharge.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance and lead improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, retention, and budget to support operational goals.
