Mount Sinai is seeking a Nurse Manager I to lead nursing practice and operations on a designated unit. You will supervise staff, manage budgets and staffing, and ensure compliance with NY health regulations and hospital standards.

Strong collaboration with Nursing Clinical Director and physicians is essential to maintain high-quality patient care. The role requires BSN and a Master's in Nursing or related field, plus several years of progressive nursing leadership experience.

Qualifications

Education: BSN, Master's Degree in Nursing or health related field preferred.
Maintain current BCLS license.
Minimum of three years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
ACLS certification (Required Depts.: ED; PACU/ASU; ICUs; Telemetry; SDU; Interventional areas).
PALS (Required Depts.: ED; PACU; IR; Peds ICU; APN Pediatric Oncology).

Responsabilités

Clinical/Technical/Service supervision and evaluation of nursing personnel.
Plan, direct, coordinate, evaluate and facilitate nursing care delivery.
Monitor patient care records and narcotic records for accuracy.
Oversee assignment and delegation of nursing functions in clinics in absence of Head/Charge Nurse.
Participate in performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
