Responsibilities include management of resources, process improvement activities, staffing and scheduling, and assuring delivery of safe, effective, timely patient care in areas of responsibility. Monitors financial performance of department(s) and assures expenses and productivity align with workload and meets fiscal targets. Leads departmental activities and monitors care provided to comply with quality and customer service goals. Assure good two-way communication with staff. Lead/participate in multidisciplinary and interdepartmental initiatives to improve care, services, and efficiencies.
