Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Current New York Registered Professional Nurse license.
• CNOR preferred; Operating Room experience highly desirable.
• 6–8 years nursing experience and 2–5 years leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee patient care unit operations, staff and activities.
• Set strategic direction for key nursing programs in line with mission and values.
• Communicate, build consensus, and guide teams toward department objectives.
• Manage unit budget, monitor expenditures and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure adherence to care delivery models and regulatory standards (JC, CMS, NYS, DOH, HIPAA).
• Provide performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions; mentor team members.
