Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team as the leader of the Surgery Center/Pre-Admission Testing Clinic. As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. This is a working manager role, where you will actively participate in unit activities/operations while overseeing the staffing assignments to ensure effective coverage. You will also be involved in personnel performance appraisals, process improvement activities, budget and inventory control, and staff and self-development.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and control staffing assignments in accordance with objectives and policies to ensure effective coverage of the department.
• Oversee and perform personnel performance appraisals, including goal establishment for each employee.
• Participate in unit activities/operations.
• Observe the condition of facilities and take corrective action to solve existing or potential problems.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Act as a change agent through role modeling.
• Participate in budget and inventory control.
• Participate in staff and self-development.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Two years of experience in the operating room (OR).
• One year of experience in a charge nurse position in the OR.
• Five to six years of overall experience with previous management experience.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: Salary range up to $130,000 based on years of experience.
• Sign-On Bonus (SOB) and Relocation assistance are on a case-based basis, pending HR approval.
