Job summary

Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown, WV is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team. You will provide leadership for OR operations and guide a perioperative nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher in nursing, WV RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least three years of perioperative experience with strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and valid in West Virginia.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses certification within six months of hire.
• At least three years of clinical perioperative experience.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative nursing leader who is passionate about surgical services, team development, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional patient care.

As Nurse Manager of the Operating Room, you will provide leadership and oversight for OR operations while working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience in the perioperative setting along with the leadership skills necessary to support a high-performing surgical team.

The Successful Candidate Should Have:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
