Job summary

Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia, seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team. You will provide leadership for OR operations and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have strong perioperative clinical experience and leadership skills to support a high-performing surgical team.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree at least an associate level or higher.
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• ASPAN certification within six months of hire.
• Minimum of three years of clinical perioperative experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OR team and oversee daily operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing staff and leadership.
• Drive perioperative patient care quality and safety.

Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team in Morgantown, West Virginia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative nursing leader who is passionate about surgical services, team development, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional patient care.

As Nurse Manager of the Operating Room, you will provide leadership and oversight for OR operations while working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience in the perioperative setting along with the leadership skills necessary to support a high-performing surgical team.

The Successful Candidate Should Have:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses certification within six months of hire
• At least three years of clinical experience
