Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead and empower our nursing team. You will guide patient-centered care, drive growth and operational excellence, and mentor Registered Nurses across shifts.

You will coordinate unit activities, ensure high-quality care, and support professional development while maintaining accountability and strong communication with the team.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent education and experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse: AZ license; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules nursing staff across shifts and monitors utilization trends.
• Directs, coordinates, and assigns unit work during shifts.
• Assesses and educates staff on patient care; implements emergency procedures as needed.
• Provides nursing care to patients as required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.

Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.

To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.

• Schedules nursing staff to specific shifts, taking into account past utilization trends. Measures employee performance. Assists in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
• Coordinates the activities of the unit during a particular shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff.
• Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
• Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements

Required

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and
• One (1) year of leadership experience
• Registered Nurse: AZ
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

• Supervisor or Manager experience
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience
