HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Nurse Manager Direct Admit to oversee daily unit function and staffing, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. You will lead interdisciplinary teams, maintain staffing in line with care needs, and uphold policies that drive clinical outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, Texas RN license, BLS, and 1 year of acute care RN experience, with leadership experience preferred. Join a hospital known for trauma care and comprehensive services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• BSN is required.
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

• Leadership experience is preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Nurse Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

• Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments. Ensures staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs
• You will provide leadership in attaining and sustain an unparalleled patient experience. Installs accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare industry.
• Leads in a way that inspires commitment to the vision/mission/values of the organization. Implements evidence based employee engagement practices.
• Represents the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.
• Manages staff scheduling. Maintains staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
