Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Manager for the Medical Stepdown unit in Missouri. This full-time days role oversees nursing care delivery on a 24-hour basis, driving quality outcomes and optimal resource use.

You will promote a professional practice environment aligned with Mercy’s mission and strategic plan. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and a current RN license in the state of practice; at least three years of clinical leadership experience, with BSN and Master's degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; internal transfers without Bachelor's degree may be considered if pursuing a Baccalaureate degree after hire.
• Must have current RN license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of nursing care for a specific patient population on a 24-hour basis, achieving quality outcomes.
• Foster a professional practice environment at the unit level with engagement, patient satisfaction, safety, and financial performance.
• Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan within departments.
• Align duties with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
