Mercy is seeking an RN Manager for Medical Stepdown to oversee nursing care delivery on a 24-hour basis, ensuring quality outcomes and optimal resource use. The role emphasizes creating a professional practice environment aligned with Mercy's mission, engaging staff, patients, and physicians.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of clinical leadership experience, with a Bachelor's degree required and BSN/Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; willing to pursue Baccalaureate degree while employed
• Minimum of three years clinical experience
• Past experiences must demonstrate leadership ability and interpersonal skills; ability to analyze complex data from information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of nursing care to a specific patient population on a 24-hour basis while achieving quality clinical outcomes and maximizing resource utilization.
• Foster a professional practice environment at the unit level aligned with Mercy's mission and service lines, ensuring coworker engagement, patient satisfaction, safety, and financial performance.
• Lead the implementation of elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan within the department.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
