Qualifications

• RN licensure and BLS certification are required.
• Two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting is expected.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager with supervising RNs and Nursing staff.
• Oversee admissions, assess patient needs, and initiate care plans.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing programs and unit initiatives.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures to ensure efficient patient care.
• Serve as liaison between management and caregiving staff.
• Identify issues affecting patient care and coordinate solutions.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes studies, and research.
• Orient new caregiving staff and provide ongoing education.
