Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and people-focused Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care (LTC) Rehabilitation to join Levindale Hospital in Baltimore County, Maryland. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an RN who understands the unique clinical and interpersonal demands of long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation and knows how to bring out the best in a nursing team while maintaining exceptional standards of resident care.

As Nurse Manager, you will provide day-to-day clinical leadership, support and develop nursing staff, and help foster an environment where residents and their families feel heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive. Offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $132,000 annually, this position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LTC or rehabilitation nurse ready to combine clinical expertise with hands-on leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher required.
  • Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of nursing experience within Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a nursing leadership, charge, or supervisory role.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of geriatric, subacute, rehabilitation, or memory care populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage staff, residents, and families.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Extensive nursing leadership experience within LTC, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or memory care.
  • Experience developing, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote clinical quality, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
  • Experience communicating with residents' families regarding care needs, concerns, and changes in condition.

The ideal candidate is a visible, approachable nursing leader who leads by example rather than simply managing from behind a desk. They are personable and confident communicating with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. The strongest candidate will bring substantial LTC, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience and know how to support their team through demanding situations while keeping quality of care and the resident experience at the center of every decision.
