Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing teams on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, oversee care delivery, staffing, and policy implementation, and drive compassionate, high‑quality patient outcomes.

This leadership role requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and CRRN eligibility, with several years of inpatient nursing experience and prior supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or to be obtained within one year.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of nursing care on assigned shift/unit.
• Ensure nursing activities are completed as required.
• Assign and ensure presence of appropriate nursing personnel.
• Identify training needs and coordinate staff development.
• Promote patient victories and celebrate care milestones.
