Zusammenfassung
Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. You will provide clinical and operational leadership for a 45-bed unit with three ORs and six OBED beds, guiding care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum services.
The ideal candidate brings progressive nursing leadership in obstetrics, strong clinical judgment, staff development skills, and a track record of improving quality, safety, and regulatory readiness
Qualifikationen
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Florida RN license, or eligibility.
- BSN required or preferred as per Baptist Health qualifications.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
Aufgaben
- Provide day-to-day leadership for LDRP nursing operations (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum).
- Promote safe, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care and adherence to standards.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization for coverage and efficiency.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, coach, and retain nursing staff; support performance management.
- Monitor quality, safety, patient experience, and operational metrics; lead improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with obstetric providers, nursing leadership, anesthesia, neonatal services and others.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for audits and inspections.
- Manage unit resources and participate in budget planning and staffing costs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure staff education, competencies, emergency preparedness, and professional development.
- Participate in leadership meetings and hospital-wide quality initiatives.
