The Nurse Manager at Good Samaritan Medical Center will lead the unit's clinical operations, supervise staff, and partner with the Director to drive patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include rounding with patients, completing monthly audits, attending staff meetings, enforcing hospital policies, and performing a mix of direct and indirect patient care duties in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• RN undergraduate degree in nursing or healthcare field (in progress).
• 1 year supervision experience.

Summary

The Nurse Manager shall lead, supervise and over-see the clinical operations of the Unit. Assist Director with patient rounding, completing monthly unit based audits, attend staff meetings and enforcing compliance to hospital policy and procedure. Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education

• Registered Nurse Undergraduate degree: Nursing, or Healthcare related field (at minimum, in progress)

Experience

• 1 year supervision

BLS NRP ACLS AWHONN Fetal Monitoring per Tenet requirements
