Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead, supervise and oversee the clinical operations of the unit. You will assist the Director with patient rounding, monthly audits and staff meetings, and enforce hospital policies.

The role includes performing a range of direct and indirect patient care duties and other tasks as assigned. The position requires an RN degree (or in-progress), at least 1 year of supervision experience, and current BLS/NRP/ACLS/AWHONN fetal monitoring

Qualifications

• RN license or in-progress nursing-related degree
• Minimum 1 year of supervision/leadership experience
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications per Tenet requirements
• Fetal monitoring competency per Tenet policy

Assist Director with patient rounding, completing monthly unit based audits, attend staff meetings and enforcing compliance to hospital policy and procedure. Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Registered Nurse Undergraduate degree: Nursing, or Healthcare related field (at minimum, in progress)
• Experience: 1 year supervision
• Certifications: BLS NRP ACLS AWHONN Fetal Monitoring per Tenet requirements
