Job summary

Bozeman Health in Bozeman, MT seeks a Nurse Manager for Interfacility Transportation Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership of the IFT program, ensuring safe, timely, high-quality patient care. You will direct daily operations, workforce management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians, hospital leaders, and community partners.

Qualifications

RN license in Montana is required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
Minimum 5 years of clinical EMS/transport/critical care or related experience.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in clinical operations.

Responsibilities

Direct daily operations of the Interfacility Transportation (IFT) program, including staffing and scheduling.
Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient transport in compliance with protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop and evaluate clinical protocols and quality standards.
Partner with the Bozeman Health Access Center to optimize transport dispatch and resource allocation.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
Oversee orientation, competency validation, continuing education, and simulation activities.
Monitor operational, financial, quality, and patient safety metrics for continuous improvement.
Oversee documentation, billing compliance, accreditation readiness, and regulatory adherence.
