Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a skilled RN with leadership experience to manage venous access and infusion therapy on a night shift. This full-time role requires RN licensure, BLS CPR, and a background in acute care. You will lead a team, develop care plans, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of patient safety and service.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (required)
• BLS CPR certification (required)
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
• 1+ nursing experience in acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy and adjust care plans as needed
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access/infusion therapy
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy
• Monitor nursing staff performance and provide feedback
• Lead staff training and mentorship to enhance skills
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to improve care and efficiency
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team
