Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Patient Care Manager RN to provide unit leadership and oversee nursing services across the unit(s) with a focus on quality patient care and staff development.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, supervising a professional team, budgeting, improving processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing safety and service excellence within the hospital system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• RN licensure in applicable state.
• 3 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and develop staff and coordinate across disciplines.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs the nursing services of unit(s) and coordinates patient care delivery.
• Supervises a professional team including nursing staff; manages budgets and staffing.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory standards and quality initiatives.
• Leads performance improvement and education initiatives within the unit.
• Provides leadership and accountability for patient safety and experience.
