The Nurse Manager (NM) position is located at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) in Geriatrics and Extended Care. The NM serves as the first-line supervisory authority for assigned units and ensures operation coverage for other NMs as needed, delivering nursing care to Veterans in the Community Living Center including Hospice, Dementia, Short-Stay, and Long-Stay services.

Qualificações

• English language proficiency required by VA Handbook standards.
• State licensed nursing professional; current active unrestricted license in any US state or territory or DC.
• BSN or higher preferred for advancement per VA qualification standards.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and supervise nursing staff in the Community Living Center (CLC).
• Provide coverage for other Nurse Managers as needed.
• Promote evidence-based practice and professional development among staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care for Veterans in Hospice, Dementia, Short-Stay, and Long-Stay care.
