Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital in Washington state seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as Manager, Family Birth Center. This role provides operational, clinical, educational, and personnel leadership for a busy community-based birth center delivering about 650 babies annually.

Reporting to the Director of Women & Children's Services, you will oversee LDRP, newborn care, obstetric services, and triage functions while acting as educator and competency leader to the team.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or current BSN enrollment.
• Washington RN License required upon hire; BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years acute care clinical experience in last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 leadership for Family Birth Center operations.
• Lead staffing, patient flow, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as department educator, overseeing orientation, competencies, and staff development.
• Partner with physicians, CNMs and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality maternal and newborn care.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and caregiver engagement.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Current enrollment in BSN program
