HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager Endo PACU to lead daily operations, manage staffing and uphold quality outcomes in a fast-paced perioperative unit. This role supports patient-centered care and adherence to policies while driving teamwork across departments.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Endoscopy/PACU, 1+ year in a nurse-management capacity, and a Florida RN license with BLS. A Sign-On Bonus may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or Compact licensure.
• BLS certification obtained or to be obtained within 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years Endoscopy, PACU or Same Day Surgery nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator or Nursing Management role.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit function and staffing to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing care per policies and hold staff accountable for outcomes.
• Lead nursing leadership activities in Endo PACU and collaborate with interprofessional teams.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of clinical Endoscopy, PACU and/or Same Day Surgery nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
