HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager Endo PACU to lead the Endoscopy/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage daily operations. The role emphasizes staff leadership, policy adherence, and outcomes improvement in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The ideal candidate will have Florida RN licensure, BLS, 2+ years in Endoscopy/PACU, and 1+ year in a nursing leadership role, with a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Compact Licensure, subject to timing requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical Endoscopy, PACU and/or Same Day Surgery nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily function and staffing of the Endoscopy PACU unit.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with policies/procedures.
  • Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
  • Lead staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical Endoscopy, PACU and/or Same Day Surgery nursing experience in an acute care setting

Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We have two full service free-standing ER facilities.
