Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health is seeking a Developmental Disability - Nurse Manager to lead nursing activities across DD services, including residential and day programs. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and medical staff, coordinate urgent medical needs, and ensure compliance with nursing standards.

Requires Georgia RN license, a nursing Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) and at least two years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities or similar needs, and at least two years supervising other staff.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work responsibilities.
• Self-motivating, self-directing, flexible.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing activities for Developmental Disabilities Services.
• Supervises RNs, LPNs, and Med Techs; ensures licensure and training compliance.
• Coordinates health plans and medical services; manages HRST and MAR documentation.
• Directs 24/7 medical support and coordination with hospitals.
• Develops policies and protocols for medical supports and training.
• ProvidesDD staff training on medical tasks and proxy care.
