First Atlantic Healthcare in Maine seeks a Nurse Manager for the Dementia Unit to lead clinical excellence and champion person-centered care for residents. You will support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day Nursing Service operations.

Trade-offs: Ensure regulatory compliance, mentor nursing staff, participate in care planning through the RAI process, and foster teamwork, hospitality, and resident comfort across the facility.

Qualifications

• Possess a nursing degree (Diploma/AS/BSN) and current Maine license.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.
• Demonstrated leadership, clinical excellence, and ability to mentor staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical oversight and daily rounds on assigned units.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participation in surveys and QAPI.
• Lead staff development, evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
• Oversee admissions, care plans, and family/staff communications.
• Implement infection control policies and safety initiatives.
