Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is seeking a Nurse Manager for the H50 Colorectal Surgery unit within the Digestive Disease Institute. You will supervise nursing staff, establish clinical direction, and ensure high-quality patient care across a busy unit, driving outcomes and coordinating with other departments to maintain standards.

The role requires BSN, RN licensure, BLS, and 3+ years of nursing experience with management.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and active RN license.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• 3+ years of recent nursing experience with at least 1 year in healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation and practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Establish clinical direction of nursing care, provide supervision and maintain quality outcomes.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Supervise caregivers and promote development.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., JCAHO).
• Coordinate unit operations with other departments.
• Develop and monitor budgets and staffing plans.
• Participate in clinical nursing research and support evidence-based practice.
