Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Nursing license in state of employment.
• BCLS certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the nursing staff within the acute care unit, ensuring compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manages and allocates nursing resources, including staffing and scheduling, to maintain efficiency.
• Fosters a positive work culture promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
• Mentors and coaches nurses and staff to ensure competency in delivering quality care.
• Participates in recruitment, selection and onboarding of nursing staff and onboarding processes.
