Baylor Scott & White Temple in Temple, TX seeks a Nurse Manager for Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab & Cardiovascular Procedural Services. This full-time day-shift leadership role oversees 4 Cath Labs, 3 EP Labs, and CV Lab operations, guiding RNs, CVIS/Technologists, and patient transport staff.

The manager provides clinical leadership, develops policies and budgets, and collaborates with governance councils to advance cardiovascular care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a similar nursing role.
• ACLS, RN license and BLS certifications are required; if BLS is not current, complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nursing care in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Cardiovascular Procedural Services.
• Direct 4 Cath Labs and 3 Electrophysiology Labs and related staff.
• Develop and monitor policies, budgets, and resources.
• Engage governance councils and promote research-based practice.
• Support staff education and professional growth.
• Ensure quality, regulatory, and accreditation standards are met.

Full-Time Day Shift

Lead a growing cardiovascular procedural services team overseeing 4 Cardiac Cath Labs, 3 Electrophysiology Labs, and CV Lab operations. This role provides clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists/Technologists, and Patient Transport staff.

Job Summary

The Nursing Cath Lab Manager promotes a helpful work environment. Patients, families, and staff receive compassionate care. They plan, implement, and assess policies. Manage budgets and resources, oversee improvement, and organize educational programs. They also participate in governance councils to meet priorities. This role involves providing nursing care.

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Formulate and convey a clear plan for nursing procedures within your assigned area.
• Involve supervisors and team members in establishing and achieving departmental priorities.
• Establish a positive work atmosphere through shared management structures and processes that help research-based nursing protocol.
• Encourage team members' professional growth in areas of clinical and leadership skill.
• Stay updated on research-based practices and leverage this knowledge in improving care standards.
• Promote a therapeutic surrounding for patients, their families, and the nursing staff.
• Represent nursing staff in addressing the concerns of patients, families, and team members.

Required Experience
