Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking an experienced and collaborative Nurse Manager to lead the Progressive Care & Cardiac Unit, overseeing clinical operations, driving quality and safety outcomes, and ensuring exceptional patient-centered care.

Reporting to the ACNO of Inpatient Services, you will mentor staff, manage staffing and budgets, enhance patient experience, and collaborate with physicians to advance care delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field within 5 years.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• 3–5 years progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Proven success leading teams and improving clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Progressive Care & Cardiac Unit.
• Mentor nursing staff through coaching, development, and performance management.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care aligned with evidence-based practice.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and budgetary performance.
• Monitor and improve quality metrics, patient experience, and engagement.
