Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Nurse Manager for Cardiac Progressive Care to lead daily operations of a 5 Heart, Medical Cardiology Step Down unit. You will allocate resources, ensure nursing care quality and integrate clinical, HR, and financial data to support decisions.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent, NC RN licensure, 5+ years nursing with leadership, and certification in leadership or clinical practice within 1 year. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina (eNC Licensure may apply)
• National Certification in area of specialty within 1 year of role
• BLS Healthcare Provider required

Responsibilities

• Supervise, facilitate, and coordinate clinical care.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on planning and evaluation of initiatives.
• Support professional development of staff, students and colleagues.
