UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking an experienced nursing leader to recruit, interview, and hire qualified nursing personnel, ensuring staffing levels meet patient care needs.

You will oversee staff development, performance evaluations, budget management, and foster a collaborative environment while complying with Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Master's degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the nursing unit's budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure efficient use of resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates proficient use of the English language in verbal and written form. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and knowledge of electronic medical records, specifically Cerner. Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements, including but not limited to Joint Commission, OSHA, and specific healthcare-related standards. Self-motivation, determination, effective time management, and the ability to work a varied schedule, including night and weekend hours. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively and present information to both large and small groups.

Education: Bachelor's of Nursing [Required] Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience: 1+ leadership experience [Required] 1+ nursing experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications: RN Licensure BSN Masters preferred BLS ACLS 3 + years of Cath lab and EP experience Cath Lab and EP leadership experience preferred.

Pay Range: $84,968.00 - $158,038.40
