Job summary

JMC Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Cancer and Infusion Center. This leadership role manages nursing staff, budgets, and quality initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least four years of nursing experience with two years in management. BSN preferred and strong interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state license via eNLC
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date
• Experience: Four (4) years nursing experience with at least two years management experience

Responsibilities

• Advises the Director on hiring, retention, interviewing and recruitment of staff
• Maintains appropriate personnel records
• Develops and implements ongoing educational programs for staff including orientation and continuing education
• Provides ongoing feedback to employees concerning job performance and conducts evaluations
• Monitors budgets and personnel costs for the cost center and justifications for variances
• Ensures economical utilization of time, materials and resources and optimal staffing patterns
• Communicates with physicians, nurses and staff to identify and resolve problems and promote patient care quality
