Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Blood Cancer Unit to lead all department functions in support of the hospital’s mission, vision and facility goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, five years of management experience, Texas RN license, ACLS/BLS, and a proven ability to manage personnel, payroll, budgets and physician relations while ensuring high-quality patient care on the night shift.

• You will address continuous customer satisfaction and employee involvement and work with Senior Management to meet goals.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will be responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital’s mission, vision and facility goals.

• You will identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell population.

• You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.

• You will identify and remedy continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.

• You will work with Senior Management in meeting the goals of the facility and the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Units.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, preferred.

• Five years management experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations and management of supervisory positions.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider.

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
