Responsibilities

• Manage nursing resources based on census and patient acuity.
• Model customer service and prioritize patient safety.
• Provide care standards and guidance to staff.
• Serve as clinical/service resource to nursing staff.
• Coordinate safe and effective care between departments.
• Recruit, hire and train new staff.
• Identify educational needs and develop training programs.
• Assist with policies and procedures development.
• Prepare reports on programs and quality initiatives.
