Peachford Hospital in the Atlanta area seeks a Nurse Manager (RN) for the inpatient behavioral health program. The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and ensures efficient department operations, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and collaborates with clinical services to meet treatment goals.

The position requires RN licensure in Georgia with a strong background in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing and demonstrated supervisory experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience as a RN; Behavioral Health/Psychiatric setting preferred.
• Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing certifications preferred.
• Progressive responsibility in supervisory/administrative nursing roles preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia in good standing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff; assign tasks and monitor patient care.
• Provide quality nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes.
• Carry out functions per hospital philosophy, goals, and program objectives.
• Contribute as an active member of the treatment team; provide redirection and consistency.
