The Ohio State University is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Abdominal Transplant department at the Medical Center. You will lead a team of professional health care providers, foster collaboration, and support a patient-focused care model in an in-patient setting.

Responsibilities include budgeting, performance coaching, and developing standards of practice to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospitalization length, and enhance service quality.

Formación

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license is required; certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise, or commitment to obtain within 18 months.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations 24/7.
• Develops short-, mid-, and long-term goals to improve unit operations.
• Manages staff performance, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives; promotes evidence-based practice.
