Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of two years management experience.
• Three years of registered nursing experience in relevant care setting required.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise, or certification must be achieved within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis.
• Plan and develop short-, mid- and long-term goals to improve unit operations.
• Manage, coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff.
• Develop, administer and manage unit budget plans and cost-saving initiatives.
