Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center in Springfield, IL is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead operations on your assigned unit, overseeing clinical staff and ensuring high-quality resident care.

You will supervise staff, provide guidance and education, uphold infection prevention standards, and ensure adequate staffing to meet resident needs. Eligible candidates hold an IL RN or LPN license and CPR certification, with 2 years RN/LPN experience and preferably 5 years in nursing management.

Qualifications

As a Nurse Manager, you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned units. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofIL Registered Nurse (R.N.) license or Licensed Practicle Nurse (L.P.N.), C.P.R. Certification, and two (2) years of R.N. or L.P.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit and five (5) years of R.N. or L.P.N. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
