Job summary

Wilkinson RHCF is a 160-bed rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in Amsterdam, NY. The Nurse Manager will supervise the unit, mentor nurses, and uphold high standards of care while coordinating with upper management to ensure resident dignity and independence.

Applicants should hold a valid State RN license with LTAC and Charge Nurse experience preferred, and bring strong computer and communication skills to lead a dedicated team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid State RN License.
• 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit.
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice.
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit.
• Review resident records and quality of care.
• Monitor overall care and review individual residents’ cases.
• Address questions or complaints from residents or families.
• Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management.

• Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management

Role Requirements:

• Must hold valid State RN License
