Job summary

University Health System- San Antonio is seeking an experienced registered nurse in a leadership role to manage staff and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will work collaboratively with all clinicians, mentor staff, and report to a Nurse Manager, Nursing Director or Administrative Director; BSN required, Texas RN license, and national certification preferred, with three years of hospital/clinic experience.

Qualifications

• National certification in related field required (e.g., CCTC, CCTN)
• Minimum three years of hospital or clinic experience
• BLS/CPR per American Heart Association guidelines

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of Texas. BSN is required. National certification (e.g. CCTC, CCTN, etc.) in related field is required. Three years recent, full-time hospital or clinic experience required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
