University Health in Texas seeks an experienced Nurse Leader to oversee staffing, mentor clinical teams, and coordinate patient care across departments.
You will collaborate with physicians and allied staff, ensure compliance with AHA guidelines, and report to Nursing leadership. This is a full-time on-site role requiring BSN, Texas RN license, and national certification, with at least three years in hospital or clinic settings.
Perform expert leadership skills in management of staff and coordination of patient care activities. Work collaboratively with all healthcare providers and non health care providers. Serves as a mentor and role model for all staff. Reports to a Nurse Manager, Nursing Director or Administrative Director.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of Texas. BSN is required. National certification (e.g. CCTC, CCTN, etc.) in related field is required. Three years recent, full-time hospital or clinic experience required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required.
Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
